• Winter activities forced into special event permits

Hi there -- here are the permit forms and rule forms. I guess you can annotate them as you like, and send them off by e-mail, I'm sure that would be fine, along with multiple attachments of other years of this event, kudos, press, anything.
This is one case where I think length is a really good idea, lots of details and stories, whatever you can block and paste from your records, bits of moving pictures posted on Youtube, high-res photos from the events (to show the activities in illuminating detail), tunes that were played, trophies that were handed out. -- I know you're all very busy so don't worry about putting it in a particular order, just string it together. Ditto with answers to the fill-in-the-blanks forms -- if the question makes no sense in the context of the activity you're doing, make sure to say to. Communities are organic and they grow every which way. It's up to the paid staff to sort through it.

Deirdre don't forget to mention that you raised $400 for a Wallace zamboni tent this way, and it was only later, when the tent had been rejected for two years running, that you gave us the money to bulk up the Wallace skate collection. The councillor announcement photo would be lovely to stick in too....
