How to get City of Toronto Firepits permit
			07-May-2011 [141]
• How do I get a permit for a regional-park firepit in Toronto?
Call "Permit Services for Parks, Forestry and Recreation" at 416 392-8188. Press "2" for "picnics." Press "1" to get an operator.
The parks that offer firepits are:
 Earl Bales
 Etienne Brule
 Homesmith
 Morningside
 Sunnybrook
 Taylor Creek
 Toronto Island
A permit can be obtained by phone, using VISA or Mastercard, if you have a fax machine or a scanner.
Cost: $80.48 for the permit, plus liability insurance. If you don;t have your own, the City charges either $27 or $54, depending on the number of people. The lower amount is for any group smaller than 27 people. Some of these locations offer some firewood (brush) but most do not.
