The A. M. Orpen Memorial Wading Pool

In 1954, Fred Orpen, the owner of the race track that used to sit where the Dufferin Mall is now donated $10,000 for the construction of a wading pool in Dufferin Grove Park. The wading pool is named after Fred's father, Abe, who founded the race track in 1907
