Sorauren Park Town Square fundraising goal

Commentary:

According to this blog entry from June 2012, there is a fundraising goalof $600,000 which will pay for:

an expanded Farmers’ Market
festivals and concerts
picnics and gatherings
exhibitions and performances
community bake oven 
community sinks [a.k.a. the plumbing part of the cob courtyard]
stage area for performing art
benches
picnic tables
gardens
trees
landscaping
a true gathering place for the community.

Congratulations to them. It would be interesting to compare this approach with others.
