Hello Margaret and Sofia:
Attached is the notice that must be posted at Dufferin Grove Park regarding the anticipated event tomorrow.
Please print off numerous copies and post them in conspicuous locations in Dufferin Grove Park. As discussed earlier, this needs to be done immediately to ensure residents have the correct information about service reduction for the day.
Please contact me when this has been completed. Thanks so much. Wendy

hello Wendy -- thank you for copying me on this news. I am concerned that the shutting down of the food cart, playground water, gardening etc. will have a negative effect -- actually swelling the size of the meetings. The original expected attendance is quite do-able -- there have been between 1000 and 2000 people in the park at other times (e.g. other years when marches have ended at the park, annual pow wow, Night of Dread, etc.) without park programs being shut down. If safety is a concern -- is the City saying that these "stop-the-cuts" citizens may be violent, hurting people or park equipment?
For the record.
