Jutta We did not close on this past weekend .Mark may have misunderstood as we were advising people who called that the ice is better in the morning and again in the early evening Mid afternoon is the wettest but still skate able . Currently we are not preforming any ice maintenance during the daylight hours the frost that develops on the ice over night helps protect the ice form the sun by reflecting much of the heat away . The ice stays in relatively good shape during the day simply because we don't have a lot of traffic just yet . Once the daytime temperature drops a little more or the sky is overcast we will be able to do daytime maintenance . Thank you for your support and we will endeavour to keep earning it David Drake Site Services Manager Harbourfront Centre 235 Queen's Quay West Toronto, Ontario M5J-2G8
