subject: Re: Info needed for Nov.3 Open House re HIRING PT STAFF

Hello Glen,

Thanks for your quick response. There is a misunderstanding -- these are not volunteers. As you know, they are currently being paid in cash (see below in red), not by CELOS but by the city (you can see the amounts, with names removed, in the Quickbooks attachments at the bottom of my last e-mail -- Anna Galati can send you the version with the names on it if you want, I've cc'd her here).

It appears from your email that you are declining any senior PT program staff's participation in interviewing and making the assessments. However we can see if Sofia can fix the city numbers issue in time to address the shortage. Three of the four experienced workers that I mentioned are at school during the day and will need to be interviewed outside of Sofia's regular hours. As I mentioned, if all four get city numbers there are still not enough PT staff on the roster-- so Sofia will also have to interview others. There are currently three other possible candidates.

I have now sent out the first round of invitations to the Open House, which will include three half-hour briefings by me in the course of the day. Please keep me up to date on this issue before then.

Jutta
