Dear Jim:

On August 8 I e-mailed you asking for responses to the questions set out below. Then I e-mailed you again August 19. We spoke for an hour by phone on August 22 and you gave me the “lay of the land” regarding the questions I’d raised, which was helpful. You also promised to send me detailed answers to my questions.

The Centre for Local Research into Public Space (CELOS) is preparing a booklet on liability issues and the answers to the questions I asked you will be included in it.

I’ll need these answers by the middle of November. Will you please let me know whether you’ll provide them by then? At CELOS, our intent is to work cooperatively and informally wherever possible, as in our experience, it saves time for all of us. However, I’ll certainly file an Access to Information (ATI) request if that is necessary.

Thanks for your attention to this. I”ll go ahead and file the ATI request on Tueday, Oct. 30 if I haven’t heard from you by then.
