Part of Food operations in parks and other public spaces

That the General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation be requested to submit a report as part of the City’s Food Strategy in 2011, on the City’s strategy to operate cafes and food service operations in City parks, specifically:

- on methods to enhance efficiency and quality of the directly operated food service outlets

- opportunities to provide for enhanced community partnership agreements; and

- to what extent food services in Parks are a core activity of the Division, giving reasons for yes or no

- and to outline the criteria used to establish food services in parks.
