Toronto Municipal Code - parks

29-May-2010 [194]

• Sections of City of Toronto Municipal Code that may apply to parks

1.CELOS researchers surveyed the Table of Contents for the City of Toronto: Municipal Code, version dated 2009-10-27, Toronto Municipal Code Oct 2009 for laws that might relate to parks and public spaces.

Listed below is CELOS' summary of sections which may, directly or indirectly, relate to how city parks are run.

The City of Toronto Municipal Code is a compilation of by-laws that pertain to the City as a whole. The Municipal Code is up-dated four times per year. For up-dated versions of the Code and for by-laws that are passed or changed between quarterly compilations, see the City of Toronto's website at http://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/municode/index.htm.

The Municipal Code, which is also indexed, is a good starting place for researching laws that apply to the City of Toronto.
